VOIP - The Things That IP Conferencing Will Not Give You

What is VoIP?

IP conferencing is one of the ways that you can use your VOIP or voice over internet protocol services. Through the use of your internet connection, you can contact all the people that you want to have a conference with wherever they may be in the world.

However, there are some things that VOIP or voice over internet protocol cannot give you. Here are some of the limitations of VOIP or voice over internet protocol.

No longer is voice broadcasting only used by corporations and politicians. In fact, for some home based entrepreneurs it has become the lead generation tool of choice. Here's how it works and the secrets to get your phone buzzing like a pro:

1. Generate or obtain a phone number of an interested prospect. Now remember, phone spamming is illegal. The individual you are calling should be a targeted and interested prospect. Furthermore, their phone number should be cleared with the national "Do Not Call" list.

2. Use a reliable software program that dials up to 200 numbers a minute. When a prospect answers the phone they will hear your recorded message. You'll want to create interest and not sound like a sleazy salesperson. In fact, you're not selling - you're telling. The goal here is to get them to take your next step. Sound friendly and conversational. And if you really want them to take the next step, offer a solution to their problem.

3. Lead them to use a feature called "press 1." Press one technology is an interactive feature that connects the listener to a longer voice message. The second message creates more interest and asks them to leave their phone number and name. Now, you've captured their data and have identified a hot prospect.

4. Now it's time to call your red hot prospect back. Keep your conversation short but let them know you appreciate their interest. Your next step is to get them more information in a group selling situation. Remember, if you've just called a few thousand people you may have twenty or thirty messages. If you're selling a product or service a good thing to do is to get them on a conference call or tele-seminar and walk a group through your presentation. At the end of your presentation simply ask for the sale.

Remember, your whole goal of voice broadcasting is to collect data, call them back when they are hot and lead them to a group presentation. When you follow that simple system your effectiveness at closing leads will skyrocket
